marc_streisand 0 Posted February 10, 2002 I live in NY, and like all New Yorkers, I was devistated by the loss of our beloved WTC. When I am at my mom's place, I drive around to all the old farms, and this day I saw these two silos and they reminded me of the Twin Towers. Nothing compares to the sheer size of the real thing, but I tried to give you a perspective of what it used to be like when you looked up at them. I hope you enjoy. Link to comment
alistair_dove1 0 Posted February 10, 2002 Nice to see a photo with a purpose and a story. And good use of the ultra wide angle to give the vertigo. I live in NY too and feel much the same way about the WTC. I tried a similar allegorical view on the 11th itself in this shot. The two pylons were my wtc and were supposed to lead the eye in to the pillar of smoke from ground zero, but it doesnt work so well. Link to comment
