Scott--I love this picture; it's among my favorites in this folder. Shooting it B&W was a nice touch and what makes the shot. The diagonal "cascading" from the upper left hand corner gives the shot dynamism. The elves should have picked this as POW. Best, KEP

Scott,

My first thought was "what a great shot!" and my second was also "what a great scan!" I too would like to know what you use. It's photos like these that prompt me to put mono film in my RZ and process myself. Well done - and all the shots in your folder are great too.

I too desire to know what you are using for scanning your 6x7 negatives/positives. I also shoot with an RB and am hoping you'll share with the rest of us what equipment you use. Also, any special scanning methodology or approach?

Thanks in advance. Excellent shot. Beautiful!

Beautiful. For some reason, I like your black and white photos more than the colored ones. They seem more interesting. I can better appretiate you expertise in capturing tonal ranges when colors are distracting me less.

BTW, my main objective in writing this comment is to be able to give you a 7 in aesthetics.
