"Moment of Victory',Lech Walesa 1980: In the heat of the moment , during events of

international significance, it is that moment that drive the image and are literally

hundreds of photographers, from all over the world, jockeying for the space you're in

and some aren't very nice about how they get there. This is the kind of moment one

must trust instincts, no time to think only respond. After the press conference within

the Gdansk Shipyards, at the signing of the 21 accords and most importantly the

legal right to form trade unions all over Poland, the workers spontaneously gave Mr.

Walesa a victory walk to the main gate of the Lenin Shipyard to address some 100

thousand Polish citizens at the main gate.

It is interesting to see a photo of Lech Walesa as a young person. The revolution and political battle aged him very quickly as compared with photos 10 years later.
