Sunrise Portknockie

Location: Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.A summer dawn at the cliffs overlooking the Moray Firth at Portknockie. It was an extraordinary morning (if you can call 4am, morning). Near the Bow Fiddle arch that makes this place famous, a pod of 30 - 50 dolphins were leaping out of the water, some perfoming somersaults. A celebration of the new day or just rejoicing in some of the finest light I have seen. This has not been "adjusted" in photoshop it is virtually identical to the velvia original.
