darien_hewett 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Another try; I shot this in a vertical format and then continued by cropping in on the subject so that it (the lighthouse and coastgaurd station) fill the frame better. I shot this image at ISO 3200 so that I could "Stop" the beam and then I ran through NEAT to clean up the grain. Any comments or tips welcomed! Link to comment
dmichaelphoto 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Solid concept, I would like to see the scene right at dusk where the lighthouse beam is visible and so is the outline of the structures---adding a little more color and emotion to the image. Link to comment
darien_hewett 0 Posted June 6, 2006 David, thanks for the comment and advice I will give that a try. Regards Link to comment
nigel d 0 Posted June 6, 2006 This looks like a relatively short exposure. I would be tempted to go for a longer exposure to bring out some blue in the sky and to catch the full sweep of the light from the light house. Still, a very well done shot. Link to comment
