Brian 836 Posted February 8, 2002 This is a tough one to get right but I think you needed more exposure of the foreground. Link to comment
dude steve 0 Posted February 8, 2002 Thanks for the comments. FWIW, I took a more exposured frame and personally found it much less interesting, but I can see why some people would dismiss this as "too dark". Link to comment
lightcarver 0 Posted February 8, 2002 It looks almost as if something alive is waiting to rise up from the beach! Truly stunning...and surreal. Link to comment
paul sumi 0 Posted February 8, 2002 Very well seen. I might have tilted down a bit more -- the sky above the orange afterglow is not as interesting. Nonetheless this is excellent. Link to comment
shoots 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Very cool use of color. I like the slow shutter effect, but more so on the foreground than the ocean in the background. Link to comment
steve logue 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Very smooooth. While I gaze at this deciding in my own mind the movement of the water, the flow and direction, I am the water deciding where to go. My eyes with constant guide, move from the center below gently curving to the left while moving upwards, reaching peak payment for my attention as I settle upon the gradient horizon... Very well done Link to comment
rob martin 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Excellent effort. Even the dark bits at the bottowe add depth ... Link to comment
kkwan 0 Posted March 23, 2002 Beauty! I really like that smooth, reflective surface. To me, the exposure is perfect. Anything lighter would ruin the mood. The composition is good too, with a lot of depth. The golden "river" draws me right into the picture. Well-seen, well-executed. Link to comment
