anner 0 Posted June 4, 2006 This piece represents the beauty in ordindary and imperfect things. When you look at this image, do you love it as it is, or do you wish to change that which is imperfect? How is that a reflection of your perception of the world? Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted June 4, 2006 Tonality is very good, but it is not imperfect enought to make your point. Not sure how best to say that... There are wonderful pictures, by Joyce Tenneson among others, of flowers that are 'past their prime' or otherwise imperfect, but they are images of decay or of the beauty that exists in aging and mortality. This, while lovely, looks as though you couldn't find a perfect specimen and shot what you had. Link to comment
anner 0 Posted June 5, 2006 I love your comments.. it gets right to my point! For you it is not perfectly ugly, nor perfectly beautiful! Hence.. it is imperfect. I love that it creates this desire in people to change something about it! I could have gone the extra steps to make this one perfect... but I really loved the beauty of its imperfection.
