Would is be better if you cropped out the top little bit and had the top right petal touch the frame?

Tim...Yes, I'm searching, and one of my paths leans toward classic Japanese simplicity, for which I find the lotus particularly apt.

 

Joy, I'm not sure the DOF is quite right here.

 

Phillippe...I'm beginning to see what you find lacking, but I hesitate to bring the stem closer to the right side. I could "fix" the right petal to touch the right corner. I'll have to think about that.
