dsc1 0 Posted June 4, 2006 Thank you to all your Warm comments. Finally my work was notice. To Mr. Traver. Inspiration of the picture- its about the great debate in the past between a landscape Photographer and a Photo artist. To Mr. Papadopoulus- trial and error 56 different shots. The birds is own and trained by local islanders. best regards DSC. Link to comment

dsc1 0 Posted June 5, 2006 in the real world for instant a great "landscape Photos" can be over shadow by sketchy images not even generated by cameras and in most cases people blindly voting for it. or most people now a days prefared Artist than generic Photographers. they tend to like the sugar coated images, pink water, impossible sun ray, moody, dark looking images. for them its very creepy and intriguing or may be they are tired with the usual photos and they want to escape reality. give them clear, sharp, highly detail photos they will call it "snapshots". 3rd option old school Photography. i call it "set up shots" like in this case we attach weight to the legs of the birds and the islander owner tossed the birds 56 time. i can set up my camera less than 2 meters away.the birds will not fly that high. the tragedy with the old school Photographers we are a dying breed. i can't draw "Pink Waters" Like mr. Saleem. i Have to settle with a real background. i can't command my real birds to animate and act. in the end hoping wishing i can get the number of votes and rates but in most cases not. its my honor you visit my photo MR. KING. best regards DSC. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted August 28, 2006 ha ha Monsieur DSC I know these Birdsssssssss, and I think that they are not living near the Sea :):):) good added background, but now I know it is PS background, I wonder how it would be if you put only solid dark color, like dark blue around them cher Monsieur!
