sarahkane 0 Posted June 2, 2006 great photo, if the sky and refeflection of were any lighter this whole thing would look just like that painting by the painter Rene Magritte, 'Empire at night'... very beautiful...where it almost seems like daytime, if it weren't for the amber lights that only come on at night, you might think it was... ~S~ Link to comment

graham boyd 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Thank you all for your comments. This is a thirty second exposure shot in the late evening, about ten minutes before the sky loses color. The water is a river and there are geese visible in the light coming from the house. Juan, deeping the shadows is a good idea. I will try it. Link to comment
