The special colored light on the water is NOT from the sunset, but

from lights for a huge nearby electric power plant that used to

pollute the neighborhood and one of California's most fragile

wetlands, but now is fired by eco-friendly natural gas, and powers

nearby Monterey, Salinas, Santa Cruz and other parts of the Central

California Coast. These fishing boats are nearly useless this year

and maybe forever; there presently is a moratorium/limit on

commercial fishing. Your rating and critiques are invited and most

welcome. If you rate harshly or very critically, please submit a

helpful and constructive comment/Please share your superior

photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! John

This photo was taken well after dark - it qualifies as a nighttime photo.

It is NOT a sunset photo. The sun was well below the horizon when this photo was taken and its color did not contribute to the colors in this photo (see Request for Critique).
