jrosiska 4 Posted May 30, 2006 Just got back from Smokey National Park. Wow! The smokies are often shown with the blue haze over the mountains. I added a color filter to give this a blue tint. Comments?? Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted June 1, 2006 This image would have been very pleasing but for the burnt out sky... Link to comment
jrosiska 4 Posted June 2, 2006 Good Comment David. The orginal picture that I applied a photoshop filter to was exposed enough so I could get some detail in the trees, without burning out the sky. When I applied this tinting filter, it made some type of curve adjustment causing a blow out. I will try and fix this problem. Thanks for the feedback. - Jon Rosiska Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted June 2, 2006 Jon, this one is worth the time to rework it. Did you try to blend a composite to increase the dynamic range here? Ideally, you should be able to get details from your shadows while preserving detail in the sky. Link to comment
