Monument Valley

I like the composition and the way the structure of the rocks resonates with the structure of the clouds. The Monument Valley is a much photographed place and I think it takes some effort nowadays to make a photograph of it that does not induce a yawn. I think you have suceeded. Would make a nice calendar page.

Eugene, this is an exquisite work. Congratulations. Don't let the ratings put you off. Your framing of what is an already outstanding image, sets it off very well indeed.

 

This is most certainly a nitpick and probably not necessary but do you think the sky could do with a bump in saturation to match that of the towers? Or maybe that would detract from the drama of the towers? Not sure...
