I normally post in the children's category but I thought I'd try the

portrait category for a change as that is what I do take children's

portraits. Thanks for viewing and leaving comments.

I am a big fan of yours from the shadows. I love your work you set the standard for children photography and now portraits.

I never know where to post my images, I typically would post in the children's category but I am finding that many of the other children's images are more photojournalistic or candids and mine are 90% studio shots. I'd thought I would start trying the portrait category for a change. Where do you post your children's images? I love your recent rose posts with the soft one being my favorite.

This is up there with being one of my favorites in your gallery Emily. Love the positioning and presentation.

This is one of my new favorites also. It is a little more artistic than my normal portraits. I wish more turned out like this. This is the hardest age for me to shoot due to my lack of posing ideas with such little ones.

I know how you feel. I don't have much experience with babies this age...the little experience that i have had was difficult do to lack of ideas that can be used. 8-15 months seems to be the golden age for me.
