promytius1 0 Posted May 30, 2006 I couldn't figure this out until I downloaded and rotated it 90o counter-clockwise, and then I saw the nice overhead shot of a river. I find no reason to display it as is, it works better as a vertical image. Othwise I like the treatment, the placement of the objects/elements, the texture of the sunlight on the water and the details at the edges. Link to comment
cuvelier 0 Posted June 22, 2006 Why I see the point about rotating it 90 degrees, as hard as it is to figure out, it was taken this direction off of a bridge that connects Queens and Brooklyn and not rotated later. To double check (and make sure I remembered it correctly) I took a couple of shots with my pocket digital this afternoon and sure enough, this is what I saw when I pointed the camera south. What I originally found interesting as I viewed this through my top-down view finder was how it was both disorienting and visually interesting - something I use in many of my paintings.
