Fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge on New Years Eve

Everyone always takes fireworks pictures of *just* fireworks. Or maybe they'll throw in some famous structure like the Eiffel Tower. So I LOVE it that you've added something different. And the bridge is great because the color of the bridge is nice with the color of the fireworks.

Usually I don't really like fireworks photographs, but this is one of the best I ever saw.I think the long exposure and the intensity of the fireworks make this one very dynamic. Having the bridge in the foreground was a good idea, but I don't think the bridge itself is very beautiful, but of course, you couldn't help that.

Nice shot, Warren, having photographed the same event on many occasions it is good to see something different. A nice tight shot and a subtle mix of colour.

This is a great shot. I agree with all of the above complements. Fireworks are usually many different colors at different times. You picked the perfect color.

I usually find pictures of fireworks so boring, but this I like!! Good Job!!

i typically hate fireworks shots, but you have tranformed the usually mundane, very nice shot and interpretation

I hate firework shots too, but this one is surely a bit better than average ! Great capture !

How come people dont like fireworks shots? I reckon they're tops! And this is a really good one. I took one NYE 1999 in Brisbane, see my portfolio, but its not a patch on this one..
