Just my tastes: The tree is nice. The bridge is nice. They don't compiment each other in this photo.

Chuck, thank you for your comment but what do you mean by they do not compliment each other. As you could probably tell I'm a newbie and have lot to learn. If you could be little bit more specific so that I can incorporate in the future it will help me greatly. Thanks again.

Joe; I looked at your photo and thought about this for a while. I think that if the tree were in focus and showed more detail and the bridge were blurred it would look good. If the tree were removed from the picture the image would look good. I think the problem is that they compete for space in my attention. To check on my idea about those things competing in your photo I just went and looked at the first 25 of the "top photos". They don't have elements competing for space. I hope that helps.
