Brine Junction

The lurid colours of rivulets from a peat stream flowing over the red

sandy beach of Mellon Udrigle on the northwest coast of Scotland

combine to create a bewildering display of colour in combination with

a blue cloud flecked sky.

Who would have thought that such a scene was from Scotland? This is a great advert for Scotland and it has increase my interest in going there. The polariser has really helpde the shot too. Great tone and composition.

Those blues are really unbelievably vivid- other hues are equally rich- If this is polarized, I'm going to slap my filter on more frequently-

It's not just polarizer but also a neutral density filter, according to the description. Great job employing the ND, I suspect that's what made the shot.

Hi Jeff Velvia 50, my last batch sob!! It was infact the highish sun, polariser and Velvia that combined to produce these colours it is as always as near a match as possible to my original tranny.

Looks like a pacific resort rather than Scotland but a fine shot. The foreground really gives impact to the scene. Can't have been easy to deal with what looks like a bright sunlit day.
