Brine Junction
Mellon Udrigle is tucked away on the northwest coast near Gruinard Bay. It is a beautiful sandy beach backed by impressive mountains, on a sunny day it is a very fine place to be and all but deserted. Draining into the sea and crossing it in dark brown rivulets is a peat stream. The combination of red sand and dark golden, peat enriched water, produces a trail of lurid colours especially when combined with a glorious blue sky day. Please take a look at some new images recently uploaded to Transient Light and Timecatcher.
