Guest Guest Posted May 23, 2006 I think this would be nice even without the treatment. Link to comment
YKV 1 Posted May 31, 2006 It's in the manipulations category that leaves it a photograph nonetheless. I am feeling like my own latest manipulations should be treated accordingly. The composition is clear and widely accepted as known and the whole treat goes into the treatmnet. I'd call it AEBF (the AfterEyeBalling Effect lol). You got a pic made, let's say couple years back and then the 47th time you got leafing through an archive an idea strikes up...imho. It sort of mutates out of your own perception. Be that good or bad, I am no judge. Every case is different and I like this particular one. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 31, 2006 I like the treatment too Costa, I was just saying that the underlying photo is good too. Link to comment
rapo 0 Posted June 1, 2006 Ben and Konstantin,I'm touched by your interest in this picture. The original is not bad actually (you can't do something valuable with a bad picture, whatever the post-processing), but very bright and somehow unpersonnal. Then I tried a BW version, but it was too clean, as often with digital pictures. Then I tried to add texture (hand made backgrounds). I'm rather satisfied with the result of this one :-) Friendly yours Link to comment
