sky blue 0 Posted May 22, 2006 This was off the highway somewhere between Fort Worth and Abilene. She's a tough ole gal. She was caught in a briar thicket on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. She was not much more than a pup. Been a good dog, she has. ~Sky Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted May 25, 2006 A friend was driving in from the country and her daughter saw the brush under a roadside fence moving. They turned around and this little dog was the culprit, all tangled up in briar. They raised Corkies and couldn't keep it so I volunteered and she's been a very good and lucky dog ever since. I sometimes wonder if it didn't run off from traveler's maybe in an RV because the little thing still smelled like shampoo. She's tough as nails but the years are starting to add up now. ~Sky Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 25, 2006 I love the framing on this, too. I wish pets lived longer. Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted May 25, 2006 ...or at least maybe tortoises could be as cute and lively as other pets. Thanks, ~Sky Link to comment
york 0 Posted May 29, 2006 I really like the background here. It's like anything would look good with this background! The rocks look like chalk. DY! Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted May 30, 2006 The background won't look this nice much longer if rain doesn't come soon. These rocks are crushed limestone and as a kid it served very nicely as chalk. Good eye. Thanks for stopping by. By the way, I have sure enjoyed so many of your photos (so colorful). Take care. ~Sky Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Cute shot and nice pose. Yup, she looks like a guard all right! I bet no one gets close to you without going through her first! Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted June 3, 2006 She does indeed think she is a very big dog. Very loyal. Glad you stopped by, Kim. ~Sky Link to comment
