Hey, thanks for the comment. Those question marks really weren't from me-must have been a formatting thing. I think I put bullet points in between them. I LOVE aviation (grew up around it) so even though most of these shots aren't the most compelling from an esthetic/storytelling standpoint, I like 'em.

well - f*ck that - just getting the chance to photograph these babies. im a FSX (sim) nut myself, i have a little "love" thang going with the f86 - its old, but its a lovely ol' girl. I think i might take in an airshow this year if i get the chance

This was at Langley last year. That show, as well as the show at Oceana (also in Va. Beach) are great if you're into modern military hardware. Sadly, it's getting harder and harder to see WWII warbirds flying, unless you go to a couple of shows (one in FLA, one in Wisconsin).

 

The F-86 is slick: so very quiet and graceful compared to the brute force of more modern fighters. It's a pretty bird.
