Roshni, this is a very good image. If your original image is not cropped as close, you may want to consider a crop tilting the image so the eyes are not level, approaching a diagonal. I feel this would add the drama it deserves. You are capturing a beauty here few would be able to see from a woman who is not in her prime.

Superb portrait, Roshni!

Great story. Her eyes reflect years and years of life. Still, she has an optimistic look, like she surpassed all the difficulties encountered. Good crop, good skin tones, 6/6, congrats!

I looked at your portfolio, which is anything but "mostly crap" as you describe it. Great portraits. I liked the reflections on the Virgin River a lot (not a portrait of course, I just liked it).

Based on this, I'd be honored if you'd look at my most recent submissions folder and you have the time, I'm anxious as always to know what you think by your ratings and words, if you have a second.
