Guest Guest Posted September 11, 2002 I'm not sure I agree with the previous commenter, but I guess its a matter of personal taste too. I think fogging the background would ruin the subtle colors, which I think make this photo so good. Your pictures of Cambridge are just breaking my heart! I went through Cambridge back in 1990 and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Great work. Link to comment
ben_crabtree 0 Posted February 18, 2003 If you would crop just a bit off the top -- down to the top of the willow on the right, perhaps -- the lightness at the top of the picture (and the tendency to pull the eye toward it) would be eliminated. Nevertheless, a fine shot. Link to comment
scooter400 0 Posted November 23, 2003 A lot of comments here .. good ideas . here is mine .. crop off the left side .. go just short of the boat.. putting the boat in the left bottom and the tree in the center top .. you will still have some of the bridge and all of the green bank .. Just an idea !!!! http://fstopnature.com Link to comment
smhickel 0 Posted November 23, 2003 Scott, I like your rendition too. Thanks for taking the time to show me a different crop. Well done! Steve Link to comment
