portraits - 4 The Eye

Those eyes are so 'present'. Good composition and the expression is priceless. On my monitor there is some 'banding' in the background and the forehead has 'solarised': Too much curve adjustment maybe? Or myabe just my taste.

Crazy good!

Every detail seems to be in harmony, the shawl with the peircing, the direction of her face with the background, the forehead (being the only fully shown part of her face) bringing us to her eyes; all great. If I had to choose something, it would be that sprig of hair (although it does add some merging with the background). If I may:

the grayscale is great, but on his forehead it's a little bit white.

Really beautiful portrait ! I love the eyes of the young girld. Nice composition, nice colour as well. Maybe the linght in some parts of the face is a bit strong... but this issue is easily fixed.

que se puede decir que no se haya dicho ates...., para mi, si la luz de relleno duera un poco mas debil quedaria mejor, asi la iluminacion sobre la cara no es tan plana...

Very nice ...the shades are simply fantatistic ,the rougish veil leads us to the soft texture of her face ,light is perfectly molded with some shades which give the photo depth and character ......then the smile extinguished on her lips but you can feel her smile in the eyes which are the main attraction,,,,simply fantastic...... Wonderful expression and tonal range. Try cropping on the left, that is: along her head. That would place the eyes a bit off the center of the frame. I'm not sure if it is better, but it might be worth a try.

This is a great shot that draws the viewer into it. You have caught the expression beautifully. I would not change a thing! Great Job.
