Even though this idea have been around for a while your image is unique and well executed. I like the twisted lines of a water current and a contrast of yellow and blue colors. I'd love to learn technical details of your work.

haven't tried one of these shots yet (live in a town whose one and only stream looks more like a sewage outlet!) but looking at this makes me want to! think it would look better with one leaf - the one on the right. is ofcourse stonking as it is. ps. if u have time please visit my portfolio to critique - thanks.

Would have cropped it a little tighter. As mentioned, the image would have been more "restful" had there been only yellow leaf instead of two thus giving emphasis to the movement of the water and its juxposition with the rock. Nice.

The water is perfect... The composition is fine too... My problem is... these 2 leaves... Looking at the picture, I feel under attack... These 2 yellow spots are just too strong in my opinion... I would like to look at the water, but I can't anymore... I loose focus... You would have a very nice water shot if you just erase them in PS - or at least 1 of them...

Man, I know those are leaves, but they have to be more graphic on that rock within your frame to make this image effective. Kudos, though, for photographing a scene as you found it. You're between a rock and a hard place on this one. Photograph as is or manipulate what will eventually become the anchor of your image. Major kunundrum............
