debashree 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Attempt of a beginner ... I was really attracted by the light shades and beautiful color ... Your comments/criticisms/suggestions will help me improve. Regards,Debashree. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted May 13, 2006 Dabashree, In the absence of a wider angle lens (in this case you did have one) perhaps a vertical composition would have given us a peek at the area below the falls while maintaining that which drew you to this scene, namely the beautiful colours. It is not a bad practice to get into; taking several shots, both horizontal and vertical because even if you were able to go back to re-shoot this you'd never match this combination of light and colours. Excellent exposure and sweet light. Best, LM. Link to comment
spiritwarrior 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Excellent color and light, but I agree with the last photographer...I would have liked a vertical photo. If you take both horizontal and vertical you will learn how to crop a photo with the camera instead of in photo shop. Overall this is an excellent photo for a beginner. Nice job. Link to comment
marahjj 0 Posted May 14, 2006 indeed...very nice colors. I would have to agree that a vertical shot may have enhanced this wonderful scene. great first attempt! Link to comment
