grillot 0 Posted May 13, 2006 When Jimmy Page was assembling Led Zeppelin, he first thought of Stevie as the perfect soulful singer; he settled for Robert Plant. This should tell you something about his voice. Sadly, Marriott died tragically in a house fire in his home in 1991. Link to comment
