julia_liu 0 Posted January 30, 2002 I took at least 10 pictures from this scene with different perspectives, framings and exposures. This one is my favorite. Thank you for your attention. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted January 30, 2002 This is a wonderful abstract. Balance and detail look great and I love the monochromatic tones. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted January 30, 2002 Simple, elegant, and well-composed. Add another voice to the others above praising your capture of the monochromatic effect. Link to comment
billmagee 0 Posted January 31, 2002 I agree with all the above comments. This is a great shot. But a quick review of your folders exposes the fact that you are a very creative artist. A primary objective for participating in photo.net is to learn. I will take a lesson from this and thank you for posting it. Link to comment
yang 0 Posted January 31, 2002 Staircases are a popular shooting subject. But, this one still stopped me for a while - the shot is looking upwards showing an optical illusion of a paradoxical double-sided stair like M.C. Eschers paintings. Its a very well composed pseudo high key picture with pleasing tones and interesting details. Link to comment
jeff_vogan1 0 Posted February 2, 2002 This shot makes me sick! It makes me sick because I am afraid of heights. Your shot does an awesome job of showing the sense of heigth. And the lighting is ideal. Great shot Julia! Link to comment

seven 0 Posted February 10, 2002 A delicate abstract that draws one in; reminiscent of the spirals of a seashell. Beautiful Julia. Link to comment
marielou_dhumez 1 Posted February 16, 2002 Same idea than Seven ! I've seen a seashell in this wonderful photograph, Julia ! Congrats for your persistent and high talent. Link to comment

birds so fine 0 Posted February 22, 2002 The logical extension of filling the hole is an infinite number of smaller and smaller scale stairs. What is most interesting to me is how the image takes you into the misty unknown so powerfully. Link to comment
