Many a soldier has stood, looking out over the battle field, watching the smoldering carnage. Few were happy with what they saw.

I am struck by how many men die and how many live, wishing they were

dead, after all they've seen in their time of war. It is sad how many

soldiers are wounded and laid up with injuries & who feel so ashemed

that they're not back with their comrades, fighting so that they can

live. There are no winners in war. Only survivors.

This is a moving and very well done photo. You have captured the atmosphere of a soldier's life and you are very right.....there are no winners in war. You did a fine job on this and should feel very proud of your tribute to all soldiers.
