Damn, PT! It had been my intention to load up an image that was similar to this, i.e., along the line of "a light at the end of the tunnel" type of subject.

However, I have to admit that this one is really great. Especially with the inclusion of the 'alien-like' figure in the background - kinda tall and slim looking... :)

An intriguing addition to this folder, for sure.

hmm, Peter beat me to it. postings just crossed I think. I got a phone call in between. Similar thoughts. PT, I like this very much. A quintessential thought/theme, 'light at the end of the tunnel'. Very well done too. Presence of the human makes the picture, imho. I like the way you've kept the light almost until 2/3 of the picture with gradual fading. As a tiny nitpick, I wonder if it was possible to have kept that little line on the right, longer. That would've added some more dimension. I mean, in case there was any post processing involved, before which, was the line any longer or more conspicuous? (like how it is on top, of course not that bright, because of the distance) if not, fahgeddaboudit :-)

Very nice PT. Nails the theme, especially with the refelctions off the lines and the floor closer to the edges of the image. I like the recurring vertical and horizontal elements. The blurred figure and the bags add mystery and give the shot the all-important sense of an unfinished story.

I form the impression the person will go off into the light, but it's a close call, he's reluctant, the darkness almost won.

Very nice theme fit. I kind of agree with the previous poster that said it would be good if it would be more symmetric. But at the same time, I find there is something very good about the perspective you have chosen. It emphasis the hesitation of the person between the light and the darkness. I also like the interpretation involving 'light at the end of the tunnel'.

Nice one PT. Sorry I have nothing to say technically, since everything seems right. Perhaps just one nitpick: the small dot of light on the wall to the left of the model, but that's really just a tiny detail. Good compsition which really draws the viewer down the tunnel.

The model seems to be waiting for us to follow (I don't see him/her as hesitating, but waiting). The trace of blue is very good.

I'm curious to read the writing above the passage way ... but it's nice that we can't. In this way each of us can interpret in our own way.

Toward the light... everything was said already, so I will add that it is well composed and fits the theme. Nice image PT.

first thought when I came across this the other day was damnit. I had tried something similar with my reflection in a door at the end of a hallway and it sucked. Like the cool blue tones and the creepy go to the light figure. poltergiest meets close encounters.

Very nicely done, and I also want to say Darn it... Perfect theme fit. I've been wanting to do something like this as well. The lights on the floor remind me of the upload to the liquid folder "Liquid Paper", which could probably fit in this folder as well. Well Done PT. Cheers, Mark

Hi, I don't comment often on picture this, but I felt like I have to say something here. By making this picture more symmetric, you would have kill it! This is the way it should be, at least for the symmetric aspect of it. This is a great picture, because it brings feelings to the viewer!

well if possible i would have made it even more asymmetric - provided that the asymmetry could be exploited by adding a bit of more light in close foreground so to feel perspective even more... i like the idea that having the light close to frame's end, the image would have been even stronger... not only the light is the end of a dark tunnel, but also the end of the frame, the end of the reading of this picture.
