Franzi in Concert

klemens_wangen

It was my very first pic with my brand new Mamiya 6 and a Scala 200. Difficult light and a long shutter time (1/8 sec).

My daughter Franziska´s christmas-concert in 2001. My first shot with

my brand new Mamiya 6 (75mm). Difficult light and a long shutter-time

(f: 3,5, time: 1/8 sec). Film: Agfa Scala 200, my first experience,

too. I´m not very happy with that pic, because of the long shutter-

timer and because Franzi is not sharp enough. I have scanned the pic

with my Epson 1640photo with 1600 dpi and resized on that size.

Thanks in advance, Klemens

This a really nice picture. It looks like a concert pianist in an old music hall giving a sold out show. I love the way the light hits the shoulders. The spot on the right hand corner seems to do a good job of balancing things out. The only that kind of distracts me are the shadows (spectators heads) closer to the camera. They could have been used effectively if they were to frame the subject. All in all youve done a good job, especially using B&W film.
