cedarbough 0 Posted January 30, 2002 I'm having a hard time with this shot. When I saw the small version it looked great, when i clicked on it, now it looks strange... too much PS or is it a reflection perhaps? I still like it, but something seems off. I wish there was more info about the image, but you haven't told us anything special about the circumstances. Link to comment
ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted January 30, 2002 Taken on 31th floor of a building in Bangkok, aprox. 7 minutes after complete sunset.. Pulled the zoom back to 24mm. Scanned to computer upside down. Unfortunately, the print came overexposed by about one stop than what I originally intended, so adjustments on contrast and brightness were added. Picture was posted uncropped. You didn't tell me exactly what was "strage" about the image. My guess were 1) image came out too soft (Sigma zoom has a reputation for softness at the wider end) and 2) the rendering between bright and dark colors wasn't up to par, due to the outdated scanner I brought since 1998. But thanks for taking the time. Link to comment
cd thacker 0 Posted March 5, 2002 To tell the truth, I really thought it was a shot of Earth from space; and I was wondering how it was you got up there. Link to comment
cedarbough 0 Posted March 7, 2002 The upside down was probably what was subliminally making me think "strange". Link to comment
