Brian 836 Posted May 10, 2006 I like the light here - it was a good time to take the picture. Also the light on that building in the background is a good feature. Now to the problems. You didn't get the horizon level. This doesn't seem like a big deal but it's surprisingly distracting when looking at an outdoor picture. Overall exposure is a problem too. You exposed for that interesting sky, so there is almost no detail in the foreground. In this case it might have been better to get up close to that building, and feature the lit-up facade of that against the sky.Overall, the time was right, but you needed to exploit the conditions better to get a more striking picture. Finding good light is paramount for good picture taking, so you are on the right track. Link to comment
