Fiddleheads Party-Down

When I was shooting this photo I couldn't get them to stop dancing...

at least they were willing to turn down the music. I'd love your

thoughts.

what is illuminating these? a bit blown in the highlights

The lighting is supposed to give the shot a party-like feel... Maybe you need to be from the days of psycadelic light shows at the Fillmore to understand (:?>)

 

The plant was removed from the ground and photograhed before separating it for replanting. The light was a halogen work light about 6 inches from the plant.

 

I have to admit, it looks a whole lot better on the print.
