Snow, pond, a tree, and a sunset...Beautiful moment out in Chena Hot Springs

Chena Hot Springs, Alaska. I'll be visiting the area again in a week or two (Feb 2nd or 8th) so any comments on this would be of great help. Thank's everyong in advance, your comments in the past have been invaluable to my photographic quest.

I know the composition is a bit busy and incomplete, the cabin,

trees, sunset, pond, fence etc. But looking at it all how it the

picture? I'll be visiting the area in a week or two (Feb.2nd or 8th)

so all comments would be of great help. Thanks for everything in

---busy or not, a very lovely scene. Keeps the eyes dancing at such wonders of nature ---hoarfrost, sunset, bkgd. mtns, . Lovely. Have fun. I can hear the snow crunching beneath your feet!!! ;-)

Quite a beautiful photograph. The colors are perfect for this type of picture and the business doesn't bother me in the least. The one thing I did notice is 2 vertical lines going down the left side of the picture. Not sure if it was the scanner or the processing that did it though.

Aside from that little detail, the photograph is quite nice and the exposure is right on (imho)!

I believe this is the same place as your Stillness at Sunset. In this picture you got more of the red mountain and tree shadow in the water. I like Stillness at Sunset a lot more, with the line from the pond to the place where the water exits the pond it gives me a feeling of a peaceful valley. Noting wrong with this, it is a nice picture.
