dusty2004 0 Posted May 7, 2006 Having spent many years photographing my own children I have learnt that we should let children be, just that, children. They grow up so fast. The little girl on the right has now grown into a young lady that serves me at my local supermarket. In case you're wondering what they are looking at, there is a column of ants running along that piece of wood in the foreground. It is these distractions that make the most wonderful images of children. Link to comment
randiwaggoner 0 Posted May 7, 2006 This is a beautiful photograph with so many things to look at. What captivated me most, believe it or not, is the little feet. I take photos of nothing the feet of my little ones. When they are little, most of us spend hours looking at the precious pudginess of the hands and feet, so why not capture it to remember for a lifetime? Link to comment
giggles 0 Posted May 8, 2006 Lovely image - I think it could look great with the painting effect you did on a the fishing image of yours. I am a children's photographer so it thrills me to see others beautiful children images. Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Thank you all for your responses. I am new this this site and the response is a little overwhelming. I had no idea that there were so many people with an interest in photography. To Emily. This shot has in fact been hand painted as you suggested. That particular copy has been given to the parents. I do believe I have another copy if somewhere. However, filling photos is not one of my stronger points. You know what they say about artists. A little scattered. Link to comment
