Nice shot!

Esthetics of 7 due to the nice placement and timing, was this handheld or on a good tripod/head?

Originality of 5 - I see thousands of cameras at every air show and many in evidence on this site.

 

 

The camera was handheld. Unfortunately I haven't bought a monopod yet. Yes, there were perhaps hundreds of cameras there that day, however one of the greatest joys of photography is taking the picture yourself.

Right on! Nice tight picture. I know that there are many shots of fighter jets, but this one is cropped nicely and fills the frame very well. Too bad the sky looks hazy. Maybe you could have used a filter to cut out some of the haze.
