garymeyer 0 Posted May 4, 2006 Well it certainly doesn't hurt to have a great looking model to start with. I love the look, pose and most everything about this photo. The lighting on the left side of her face is great and brings out nice highlights in her cheek which then makes the right side of her face appear a little flat and blown (at least on my monitor which hasn't been calibrated in a while.) Regardless, overall this is an excellent picture. Link to comment

neilpeters 0 Posted May 9, 2006 in 35 years of photography, I've seen thousands of thousands of pictures of faces. Surely, this is Helen of Troy. Her face is so photogenic and stunning, so relaxed and alluring, one almost overlooks what a nice job of lighting, composition and color you've done. For her not to be on a massive advertising campaign, cover of Vogue, movies, a book of only her, is a photographic crime. This is as photogenic as it gets.
