I like the desaturation... for once it actually helps a photo. Usually it looks gimmicky, but I think it works really well here.

How long did you spend on this?

Oh, a little while....maybe about an hour and a half....

I'm imagining this shot in Maize and Blue... :) Love the unique angle and the desat. Velvia's fun...I've had some done at Denver Slide Printers...they do a really nice job...I've actually even been to their store. Anyway, if only the colors were different....sigh :) Nice job.

You may disagree on this one Leslie, but I've always thought it would be neat for Nebraska to play Michigan or Ohio St. every year in their non conference schedule....somewhat the way Michigan plays Notre Dame every year....just a thought:)....How large did you get the print on the Velvia? I'm probably going to send this to MPIX and have them blow it up to about 16 X 20.

And Chris, non-conf play would be fine with me...I'd rather have a decent team then a boring one...like Vandy this year... ugh. Oh well. BTW, I HATE, DETEST, CAN'T STAND...Notre Dame! :) They are so fun to hate.

forgot to say that i believe it was an 8x10 or 11x14...was a while ago...haven't done anymore slides since...takes too much time for my taste. Now if there was someone local who could process and print, I'd probably do it more often.
