daily_photograph 0 Posted May 3, 2006 Your creeping through the nature for hours was succesful. Extremely successful. I take the liberty of a hint that I dislike the crossing of wing and green ... Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted May 4, 2006 I thought of cloning that part of the green at the wing too but that will remove the delicate wing details at the same time so will just have to leave it there. Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted May 4, 2006 Cherlyn, I have to agree with Amal. This is definitely not just a 'plain dragonfly' but a small piece of art. I like the way you composed this shot, with the dragonfly just off centre. The sparkles in the water add interest in the background, without distracting too much from the main subject. They also, in some way, highlight the beauty of this dragonfly. Link to comment
cyrus khamak 0 Posted May 5, 2006 What I like most about this image is the capture of the dragonfly itself. The colors are pleasing and the reflections on the head, look like catchlights and give it added life.Cheers. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted May 6, 2006 Incredible how the dragonfly seems a part of the stem. A successful capture; an original one. Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted May 9, 2006 Amazing and what a painting-like image. What a wonderful dragonfly and what a great place he has found for himself to take a break. Excellent job you did here Cherlyn.I love the background too. Very graceful and soft coloured. I would like to give you 7/7 because you deserve it for this picture but alas, I'm not allowed;( Link to comment
marahjj 0 Posted May 28, 2006 definately not an ordinary dragonfly....it looked to me a flower at first glance. wonderful. Link to comment

beng 0 Posted March 16, 2007 To photograph such position of the dragon fly is not easy. Your patience is admirable !. Not only the "pose" of the subject is good, but also well composed and well exposed despite the high contrast with the background. It takes not only time to wait, but also luck. Link to comment
