Cheeky chops.

If you get time, let me know what you think.

BTW, Compare this the shots of Jessie in my 'A' Gallery to see how she

has changed 10 months!

Hello again! This photo is at the same time hilarious and a little frightening... ;-D

Let me explain my view. This young chap is obviously never ending source as a superlative model. And as a prove for this, this photo is magnificent. What made me feel (a little bit) scared... :-D, were his "Chucky - the doll"-eyes and facial expression... But this thought is only to be taken as a joke. As a whole, I really like your photos, including this particular one.

Happy and jolly shooting! Give this young man a hug (and keep him away from the movie theatre... ;-))

Jessie doesn't naturally look like Chucky - It took some doing, but I managed it. :0)

She's so beautiful, but I have failed in my effort to capture it.

Sorry to have frightened you :0)

kind regards,

Paul.

BTW - Loved your portfolio.

:-D

Sorry for my very bad mistake! He is a she - I should have known! And I should have watched the other photos before commenting... (Banging head to the keyboard).

But, back to the reality: I really loved your portfolio. You obviously have a great will and a keen eye on photographing. In a way these photos made me thinking of vintage things... Something in the lights and in the composition is guiding my thoughts to the sixties. And please, dont take this as a bad thing! This "line in your work" kind of makes a backbone to the whole portfolio. And this is indeed a nice thing.

Thank you very much for your kind comments concerning my portfolio. I really appreciate them!

Hopefully we will comment each others works again on the future.

Give my best wishes to your wife and to the wonderfull model!

Yours,

Alpo

It's not obvious that Jessie is a she from any of my photos.

I look forward to seeing your photos in the forum.

Thanks again and no probs with my Gender-bending daughter :0)

I love the expression, the detail in the eyes, the little cheeks & the classic hair style :) She's a doll. The only thing I find a little distracting is the lack of background detail on the bottom third of the image. It seems her head is "floating". She needs something to anchor her. Did you dodge the background or was it just the way the light & camera captured it?

She is as cute as Madison, but she has her own personality:) I envy you. I have 4 grandsons & 0 granddaughters. Luckily, I did have one of each of my own. While I love my boys, I sure would love to have at least one granddaughter!!!!
