w. roger keagle 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I have traveled this road many times, it is always different, always gets my attention, never fails to thrill me, "On the Road to Warragul" Link to comment

w. roger keagle 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Soft is a good way to call these hills and the air arround them...soft. Link to comment
madison01 0 Posted April 29, 2006 There is some slightly distracting colour-noise on the left hill (and through some of the rest of the shot). Having said that, what a vista. The exposure is very well judged throughout. I like this - and that is why I'm commenting on it :0) Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Someday I will work out how PN works, this will include how they treat my files when I download them. After the most careful work, and efforts on my part, I often see unexplained artifacts...often I think it is because I am still on dial-up, and use an old browser...glad you like the shot, sorry about the download worries. jim_hoffman 1 Posted April 29, 2006 The noise in the picture distracts me a little bit too,but I like the colours and composition of a beautiful view. Greetings,Jim Link to comment

photos of hans koot 0 Posted April 30, 2006 yes.. beautifull Roger.. did you think of cloning out the wooden poles? the treatment of pn seemes a bit of a crime sometimes pffff Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Yes, I did think of getting the poles out...better if there had been three... ! Tell me, do you know of how to uplift a file that will prevent this treatment ? Are my files too large and thus are compressed...is there some thing that I do wrong in how I prepare them for PN ? I have tried every trick in the book, and still get files that look like they are not thought out well. Hummm ! (By the way, We have turned back the clock and gotten an M2 Leica that is 40 years old...wish I had had it for the past thirty years !) Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted May 1, 2006 you can copy a pole? :-) I am not sure Roger, how to prevent, though it seems that if I have to compress a lot (because there is a lot of information in the image and it grows to large imo) the result looks much worse in the uploaded version. Some images seem to suffer less, and i dont exactly know why. So my only suggestion is not to compress too much > 80% compressed file in ps, coz they compress again at pn. Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted May 1, 2006 I will give that a try...hard to explain how some react worse that others...an unsolved mystery ! Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted May 8, 2006 This is wonderful! I love the soft lighting and the painted feel to it. Your landscapes from Oz are just fabulous!! Link to comment
