kickniko 0 Posted April 30, 2006 At which point does our mind stop constructing reality? All critiques/ratings/comments are very appreciated. Link to comment
johnhamilton 0 Posted April 30, 2006 I really like this. I love the colour and the fact that I really want to know what elements made up the picture, but I can't. A great abstract. I've tried tilting my head and it works very well as a portrait too. Link to comment

kickniko 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Thank you very very much for the kind comment, John! For such photos I always expect at least disliking if not sharpest critiques, and so I am particular glad that you like it. What is is, you asked. Well, in the train that brings me to my work place, they have constructed the first waggon as a kind of "park" for small children to play. So there are some of the usual things that you can find in such parks. I made a multi-exposition using the constructing frames of a kind of "dinosaur" on which the kids climb. I also find that very nice for itself but the reason for such multi-expositions that are more or less "stripy" was to use them afterwards as patterns for the body of an electric guitar. And so I made the folder "For Edward Lodewijk the flying Dutchman" http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=581111 here at photo.net which is full of such abstracts and guitars that use them. Perhaps you want to take a look. (I hope you know which flying Dutchman I mean ;-)) Oh, and as you already said, there is no real orientation for all those abstracts. It is just put it as you like. Thanks again and best wishes! Nick Link to comment
