Taken from one of my favourite places in Italy. This view from San Gimignano was a treat this

day. The first rays of the sun have gilded the foreground.

Breathtaking! The glowing grasses in the foreground really set it off.

Beautiful shot. I like the warm, soft light you have here. Nice find. I see tiny dots at the upper left corner; are they dust bunnies or birds?

Thank you to everyone for their kind comments. I came here last year and took a shot from the same location which you can see in my Italian landscape folder. This sunrise was even better and of course my skills have improved considerably in the last year. Thai I have squinted at the left corner without seeing any spots although the 5D sensor is quite dirty at the moment.

The layers of sky & mountain range are so beautiful. Perfect lighting & beautifully composed. The foreground grass provide a good framing to the hills beyond.
