apurba buragohain 0 Posted April 28, 2006 good take but for me a bit of extra contrast is required to ged rid of haze feel. rest is very fine -thanks and peace Link to comment
ben heaven 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Thanks for your comment. The image was processed to mimick cross-processing the negative in transparency chemicals; the idea being to produce an image that looks like a still from a film. It is composed of six individual shots which have been stitched to produce a higher resolution image. Thanks again, Ben Link to comment
sebastian free 0 Posted May 2, 2006 To me is wonderful and I like the tones. I do not see the stitching. Why did you neeed such a big image? Link to comment
ben heaven 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Thanks Sebastian. The software I use does a good job of blending the seams :-) The idea of stitching and having a high resolution image is in the flexibility it provides for enlargements, and also getting a wide angle panoramic format without excessive cropping. I aspire to using medium format equipment with a digital back one day, but at the moment i am enjoying using my DSLR and stitching to create the resolution and formats i need. I try and stick to the traditional ratios/formats 6x12, 6x17 etc. thanks again, Ben Link to comment
