Depth...this has depth, and that is what draws us, we are truely in the depths, and coming out into the light...Magic !

Black and white is a good choice. Great lighting.

Cracking shot, Sondra! All the elements are there, the dramatic cave, the sky the little tree and the figure. Nice use of the light and a fine composition. I might have tried a little suggestion of shadow detail bottom right but overall this scores an easy 7/7 from me. Congratulations!

 

Oh! except I can't due to the PN 7/7 rules.....
