One of the better variations of this theme. I love the light to dark transition and the colors at the top. Good work!

I love deep rich vibrant colors and have often wondered why someone does not take advantage of the colors that location gives off at the right time of day like you obviously did. Great job. Gorgeous image!

(The overmanipulation) Doesn't do anything for me. Why spend so much $$$ for a camera and then blacken out 80% of the image, and of a scene which is posted over and over and over again?

John, why not? I don't understand your attitude. If I got to go there, I'd sure take all the photos I could. I, for one, never get tired of seeing images of this place, and I love seeing the uniqueness (and beauty)of this one. It brings joy to this observer.
