Staten Island blue

Yeah, that makes sense, but the sign is pretty huge, so the shot would (obviously) be very different if you were able to read the whole thing. I guess I see it as a bit more of an abstract thing, and as you said, more of a graphic approach balancing the sky/building/lights/neon sign, all in a lot of curves thanks to the 16mm fisheye lens.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm only in NYC from time to time, but when to do return I'll consider a different approach.

Such a clean, crisp picture, and the neon blue is perfect set against the sky. The left building frames the Sign really well.

I'd like to see what you come up with at this location, jim, but this is very good!

Fisheye rocks! but is a b*tch to crop - i dont care i cant tell what the sign says - im more interested in the yellow lights at the bottom has been cut juuuuust to close.
