hugo tuffen 0 Posted April 26, 2006 This isn't a perfect beautiful image - I was trying to capture themood of the fading spring light in a rather bleak forest rather thanproducing something spectacularly colourful. Also although I kept therule-of-thirds going, the flowers are deliberately off-centre andunbalanced, to uncourage you to look beyond into the blurred wood.It would be great to know what you think about it! Guest Guest Posted April 26, 2006 I have almost no experience in shooting scenes such as this, but I think I know quality work when I see it...and that's what this is, in my opinion. The depth of field is perfect, and he low key greens contribute to the sense of fading light. I agree with you that "spectacular color" would have probably ruined this shot. I like this a lot, and think you have achieved your goal with this photograph. Link to comment
neilpeters 0 Posted April 26, 2006 beautiful, as is all of your portfolio. If this is a 645 full negative, I'd say your composition was perfect. If a 35mm format, your choice of metering and framing is ideal. well done .... neil Link to comment
