graham john miles 0 Posted April 23, 2006 A big and bold image that appeals on a purely primal level. There is no face or expression to distract us from what is a sublimely sexual and erotic vista. Marvellous. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Nice lines and contrast, but I think the image would improve greatly, if you would have cropped just a bit lower, just below her shoulders. :) Link to comment
bonnici 0 Posted April 23, 2006 just a little vignetting in the upper right corner. this is another splendid shot! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 23, 2006 Robert, Another wonderful image. PErhaps leaving the top of her shoulder in would be in order. Other than that, very nice Alexis www.alexisneel.com Link to comment
erik skaar photography 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Hi Robert- I have been meaning to leave you a note for some time now... quite honestly, I never really knew where to begin in regards to commenting on your work. Today, I think I'll start by saying your portfolio is one of the most massive on this site, not in size or number of images but by the sheer impact it makes. This photo in particular hits me like a sledgehammer every time I see it and it remains in my mind long after I have turned away from my computer screen. In my opinion, your nude work is the best here on PN (and the most influential to me in regards to my own nude work) and I cannot tell you how many times I have stopped to look at your images. Admittedly, I have even tried to emulate some of your shots, however unsuccessfully. Hopefully, you see that as I do, emulation being the best form of flattery. I have also noticed many of your comments and critiques on other's images and it only adds to the impact of your work the fact that you seem like a very down-to-earth, unpretentious guy who remains humble even within his obvious accomplishments. It makes it that much easier to see your work and approach to it something for others to aspire to. Which isn't to say that your photography doesn't speak volumes for itself. My very best regards,Erik Link to comment
